On the Correios website, there is a section called “Acompanhe seu objeto”. Scroll down the landing page and you will find a box with a search field where you can enter the tracking code. Enter the tracking number provided by the sender and the system will provide updated information about the status of your package. If your package shows postage with DH, it means that the item was posted after the dispatch time, this adds 1 working day to the delivery time.
Correios’ offices usually operate from Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., but depending on the region and the chosen unit, this can be different. On Saturday, Correios’ offices are usually open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., and these hours may be subject to change according to their location. For example, offices located in larger areas may close later.
If you request suspension of delivery, the shipment will appear as “blocked” in Correios’ internal system. Then, the agency responsible for the delivery will cancel it and return the package back to the sender.
