Additionally, GDEX tracking is available for all shipments within Malaysia and selected international destinations.

    How Can I Track My GDEX Package?

    To track a shipment, customers simply need to enter their tracking number on the GDEX website, mobile app, or a third-party shipment tracking platform. The tracking system will then provide real-time updates on the shipment's location, status, and estimated delivery date.     1. Tracking GDEX Packages via the Official Website

    • Enter your consignment number in the "Consignment Number" field.
    • You could also enter the "Customer Reference Number".
    • Click on the "Track" button.

    The tracking system will display the shipment's location, status, and estimated delivery date. You can also search 20 consignment numbers at once.

    GDEX Tracking Number

    GDEX uses a unique consignment number to offer customers insights into the status of shipments. The GDEX consignment number is an alphanumeric code that is used to track the shipment of a package or parcel through the GDEX network. The tracking number is unique to each shipment and is assigned by GDEX when the package is picked up.

    Each segment of the tracking number holds significance, representing specific information related to the shipment's origin, destination, and other relevant details. Variations may occur based on the specific GDEX services and regions.

    The format of a GDEX tracking number is as follows.

    - MY12345678901

    - MY98765432102

    The first two letters are the country of origin code. In the case of GDEX, the country code is always "MY". But if the shipment is coming from another country it will have a different code, like "CNMYG" which is from China. The first 3 digits of the tracking number represent the GDEX branch that processed the shipment. The next 6 digits of the tracking number represent the consignment number. The last 2 digits of the tracking number are checksum that is used to verify the authenticity and accuracy of the tracking number.

    Authentic GDEX tracking numbers adhere to the carrier's prescribed format. Be cautious of discrepancies or irregularities in the number's structure, as they might indicate potential issues. Legitimate tracking numbers are alphanumeric, and any deviation from this norm could be a red flag for fraudulent activity.

    GDEX  Tracking Status

    When tracking your GDEX package on the official website, app, or third-party parcel tracking platform like TrackingMore, you might encounter various terms that provide insights into your shipment's current status. Here's a simplified explanation of the common tracking statuses you might come across.

    Status 

    Meaning

    Delivered 

    The shipment has been delivered to the recipient. The recipient may be required to sign for the shipment.

    Out for delivery

    The shipment is out for delivery to the recipient. The recipient should expect to receive the shipment within the next few hours.

    Inbound to destination 

    The shipment has arrived at the destination hub and is being processed for delivery.

    Outbound by PJY Hub

    The shipment has left the PJY Hub and is in transit to the next destination.

    Picked up by courier 

    The shipment has been picked up by a courier and is on its way to the destination.

    Success 

    The shipment has been processed successfully.

    Pending 

    The shipment is awaiting pickup by GDEX. This status may be displayed for a few hours or even a few days, depending on the pickup schedule for the area where the shipment is. 

    Pickup

    The shipment has been picked up by GDEX and is in transit to its destination. 

    InTransit

    The shipment is in transit to its destination. 

    Returned 

    The shipment has been returned to the sender. This may happen for a variety of reasons, such as an incorrect address or an undeliverable package.

    Claim

    The shipment is under investigation for a claim. This may happen if the shipment is lost, damaged, or stolen.

    Unsuccessful delivery

    The shipment was unable to be delivered to the recipient for some reason. This could be because the recipient was not home, the address was incorrect, or there was a problem with the delivery service.

    Invalid Consignment Number

    This status means that the tracking number is not valid. This may happen if the tracking number was entered incorrectly or if the shipment has not yet been shipped.
